You know when you’re looking to munch on a tasty hot jerky, but not too hot? That’s exactly what we’ve come up with here with Dundalk Dan’s Awesome Habanero Beef Jerky!
Inspired by beef jerky fans at our many sampling events that asked us to take the heat to the next level after trying our milder 5-star Sriracha, our new Habanero recipe is the perfect balance of bold flavors with a heat kick that stops just short of being “too much.”
To get the right balance, we hit the Test Kitchen hard and produced many batches of hot jerky, ranging from “Tasty, but I’m not getting the heat?” to “Holy Moly Man! We can’t sell that!” This recipe is the one that hit all the right notes for the Team at Dundalk Dan’s though, so we invited our VIPs and biggest jerky fans to test it out and here’s what a few of them said:
Our beef jerky is all handmade in small-batches producing the highest quality beef jerky. We hand trim any fat off of the 100% USDA Choice Grade Beef and marinate the strips in our liquid marinades for 3 days, turning the batches every 12 hours before dehydrating and vacuum sealing each package for freshness. We add one of those little oxygen absorbers to each pack to ensure you get the freshest product available.
