Dundalk Makers Market Was Tons of Fun!

Dundalk Dan's Street Team was out in full force on Saturday, September 10th in Historic Dundalk, MD for the final Makers Market fair of the season. Dundalk Dan, Ben and Sam worked alongside Andy providing free samples of our Chesapeake and Sweet Bar-B-Que beef jerky.

The weather was beautiful and the vendors were great. There were over 35 vendors who sold all types of products from local-famous Stoutens Snowballs to handmade parrot toys and bowls. Note to self: That cockatoo drew some serious crowds to his booth!

As for jerky tasting, the overall consensus was not a surprise - Dundalk Dan's Chesapeake was the favorite over our Sweet Bar-B-Que flavor. While people said the Bar-B-Que was tasty, we heard time and time again that the Chesapeake featuring J.O. Spice is their "new favorite jerky!" Music to our ears. If you love steamed blue crabs and you love beef jerky, do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Thanks to the good folks at Dundalk Renaissance Corporation who put on these Makers Market events. They're a combo street festival, craft fair and art show and take place on historic Main Street. The series is wrapped-up this year, but be sure to check-out next year's series.

Next-up for us, the Street Team at the DRC's "Family Fall Festival" on October 29th where we'll be offering samples of our latest small batch handmade beef jerky. Hopefully we'll have some Sriracha out of the test kitchen :)
